Have you ever longed to own an an­tique edi­tion of a clas­sic book? Un­for­tu­nately, edi­tions of this kind are quite pricey and rarely in a con­di­tion fit for every­day read­ing. Dublura is our an­swer to that prob­lem. We type­set the clas­sics afresh, after the old prac­tice, and case them in cov­ers im­it­at­ing the bind­ings of the 18th cen­tury. In their mak­ing they are the or­din­ary mod­ern hard­backs you know. In their design, how­ever, they are noth­ing like the books of a mod­ern book­store. There is no glar­ing let­ter­ing and no blurb. The cover im­it­ates a leath­er-bound volume, with the ac­com­pa­ny­ing text type­set in our own con­sist­ent house style after the man­ner of the print­ing of the 18th cen­tury.
