Dr Tongai Chitsamatanga is a Zimbabwean orthopaedic surgeon, author and founder of Muroro Heritage, an initiative dedicated to preserving African history, genealogy and cultural identity.His historical novel, Muroro: The Man from Sena, and its Shona edition, Muroro: Sinyoro Vakabva Sena, bring to life generations of ancestral history through stories passed down by his grandfather, Sekuru Jairos Chikwaiwa (1913–2005).Through his writing, Dr Chitsamatanga seeks to preserve the voices of African ancestors, celebrate the Moyo Sinyoro heritage and inspire families to document their histories for future generations.Discover more at www.muroroheritage.com.
