Cee Grimes

Cee Grimes is an artist and writer with a deep passion for the wild and its diverse species and habitats. Her illustrations are all handmade using layered painting techniques to achieve a wide variety of textures on watercolor paper, then cutting different shapes to arrange into the final images. She lives with her family in the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York, USA, where she creates art, writes stories, grows food, and continues to learn about the native species around her. Through her children's books and art, she hopes to inspire a new generation of naturalists who will reap the wellness benefits of being in touch with nature. She holds a BFA in fine art from Emily Carr University in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
