Albert Seligman
Albert is a long time illustrated book collector, now retired and publishing books from the Golden Age of illustration. His first major project was the American Weekly illustrations of Edmund Dulac. These front page newspaper covers were painted by Dulac between 1924-1951 for thirteen series for WR Hearst newspaper chain. They were rarely seen in the UK and are Dulac’s largest single body of work.
The second project is a new Arabian Nights series of the most popular Tales with illustrations from 1800-1950 of the finest illustrated editions. These are all available in print editions using high quality coated papers and bright restored images.
