Coyotes and Stars is a self-portrait of the American Southwest written by 72 writers—Native American, Hispanic and Anglo. The stores, written by everyday people, describe three distinct cultures that have co-existed peacefully for centuries. Their stories are a testament to the importance of family and community in giving an individual a sense of purpose and a role in life.
