William Blaikie (1820-1899) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister who pastored in the Free Church and served as Professor of Divinity at New College, Edinburgh. In spite of his credentials as an academic, Blaikie writes with deceptive simplicity but real warmth in this commentary.
