Description
The Sports Card Collector: Portraits, Paper and the Pleasure of Collecting presents sixty full-colour pages of original artwork inspired by sports cards. Imagined athletes, equipment studies and bold silhouettes appear as small printed objects in sleeves, holders, albums and boxes. Whole-card portraits alternate with close views of paper edges, glossy surfaces and layered stacks. Brief notes draw attention to visible shapes, colours and materials. This is an illustrated celebration of card design and collecting, with fictional subjects and original card designs.
