The Mind, Transcendent

Description

What price would you pay to have your dreams come true?

The Extended Mind was Britain’s source of knowledge – and the foundation of its reality. It’s been gone for six years, leaving its ex-Citizens vulnerable to disease, starvation, and maybe even invasion.

Grendel leads an expedition across the sea, determined to find a way to restore the Extended Mind. Arriving in ‘the Geist’, it seems like they may have found something even better: a paradise where Citizens’ dreams are manifested in reality; where you can take any shape you want, feel anything you want, and maybe even fly. But paradise comes at a cost, which they may not discover until it’s too late.

What lies behind the Geist’s promises? And can the expedition find a way to reunite the fractured Mind – or will the very act of exploration be their downfall?
