Description
On the wild northern coast of Ireland lives Finn McCool, a giant with plenty of strength—and plenty of confidence.
Across the sea waits Benandonner. When Finn challenges him, a pathway of stones stretches towards Scotland. But as his enormous rival approaches, Finn begins to wonder whether he has made a very big mistake.
Luckily, his clever wife Úna has a plan. It involves a cradle, a bonnet and one surprisingly large baby…
Sneaky with Finn McCool is a playful retelling of the Irish legend behind the Giant’s Causeway, brought to life with richly coloured coastal scenes, humour and larger-than-life characters. A story to share aloud about how a little clever thinking can solve a giant problem.
Includes pages exploring the characters’ names, background to the legend and an introduction to the companion Giant’s Causeway Activity Book.
