What Holds

Description

This book is about what your creativity is built on.

Not your skill. Not your effort. But what sits underneath how you create and how that shapes everything that comes out of you.

As a music creative, you don’t just respond to the music in front of you. You respond to how you interpret it. What you think it means. What it says about you. This happens instantly, often without you noticing.

But from that point on, it determines everything: what you keep, what you change, how long you stay with an idea, and whether you remain in flow or fall out of it.

Over time, this becomes your process.

If that foundation is clear, your work opens up. If it isn’t, things start to feel forced, controlled, or slightly off even when the work is successful.

What Holds is about seeing that hidden layer properly. Because once you do, you don’t just change what you create. You change what you’re creating from.

And that’s what actually holds.
