Blues historian and author, Keith Dixon has put together a history of the successful captains of Birmingham City Football Club from 1930 to 2014. Whilst it is not encyclopaedic it does record the success of The Blues within living memory, appearances in F.A. Cup Finals, Football League Cup Final victories and appearances, Wembley Final victories and successful promotion campaigns. Every captain who has bought success to St.Andrew’s is acknowledged and the book includes match reports and illustrations for every game. With the Foreword written by the current captain Paul Robinson, it includes the results of in-depth interviews with most of the recent skippers.
