Georg Friedrich Most, physician at Stadthagen in Schaumburg-Lippe, proposed in this short work a new, cheap and, he claimed, effective treatment of epilepsy, supported by numerous case histories. The French translation by « Ch. de G. », with the author’s notes added in 1824, was published in Paris by Rey et Gravier in 1825. This is a faithful print-on-demand facsimile of the 1825 edition, reproduced in full from a library copy. The historical text is reproduced without modification; only the format, margins and legibility have been reset for modern printing.
