Description

She wasn’t a liar. She was the lie.

Lark is a woman with no past. A car accident survivor with amnesia. The only clue to her identity hangs on a gallery wall.

An enormous canvas, bearing a beautiful woman body-painted with a serpent dragon. Her dark siren eyes tell a story of ravished and sated desire. The sight of the stunning portrait overwhelms Lark with her first true, recovered memory, and a shocking realization.

DragonFyre. Property of the artist.

The painting is the work of an anonymous artist, The Botanist. Known for creating intricate landscapes that hide secret figures, DragonFyre is their only known portrait, a radical departure in style. But to discover the mysterious artist who may know the truth about her, Lark will have to contend with the vastly wealthy and taciturn Mr. Preston-Grant.

Call me Grant.

Darkly handsome and imposing, Grant holds far more than just The Botanist’s secrets. He’s alluring in a way Lark’s traitorous body remembers. Just being close to him batters her in waves of fractured memories, snapshots of a soul-searing intimacy. Leaving Lark to wonder whose secrets are more dangerous: The artist’s? Grant’s? Or her own?
Determined to recover her memories, to reconcile her past with The Botanist, Lark will go with Grant, to Nightvein House, into the isolated Los Corazones Canyon in California. . . back to the husband she left.

This is what you get when you play with DragonFyre.

DragonFyre is an adult contemporary romance, a standalone with a guaranteed happily ever after. It depicts a robust, open-door relationship between two consenting adults. The vibe is suspenseful and gothic, but not dark romance.
