One Is the Beginning – The End Is the Beginning… presents the work of Greek artist Aglaia Perraki through a distinctive dialogue between painting and allegorical writing.

Bringing together 28 interlinked works, the book explores themes of identity, love, faith, fear, transformation and renewal. Perraki’s paintings, executed in egg tempera, are accompanied by poetic narratives in which everyday figures, animals and objects become carriers of deeper philosophical meaning.

Together, image and text form a cyclical meditation on human experience, where endings become beginnings and seemingly separate elements return to a greater whole.
