Welcome to Nargellouville- a village full of clever people… or at least it was.

Now the villagers can’t remember their books from their biscuits, or their tables from Daisy the cow (who is frankly very insulted).

Why? Because Mayor Sprag Ledum’s cakes are so delicious, they make you forget… well… everything.

Everyone except Beth. She hates sweets. (Yes, really. Even doughnuts. Even jam tarts. Even triple-chocolate-fudgey-whatsits.)

With her little brother Tom, Beth has a plan: use ridiculous rhymes to confuse the mayor and remind the villagers of their words, before Ledum gobbles up all the brains along with the buns.

Can Beth outsmart the greediest, crumb-covered villain in history?

Or will Nargellouville be stuck calling cows ‘table’ forever?
