Description

Two neighbouring farmers of opposite temperaments fall into lifelong enmity over the state of the fence that divides their land. Filled with a countryman’s eye for natural details, and a countryman’s tolerance of human foibles, R. Dewi Williams’ seminal short story, first published in Welsh in 1911, appears in the author’s translation of 1915.
