Description

‘Benches’ is a collection of personal observations and reflections from the point of view of a retired Jungian analyst in her late ‘seventies. The title arose out of many experiences of sitting on benches, large and small, many with dedications to loved ones or simply expressing gratitude for the location or view, with notebook and pen available if desired, in public gardens, along riversides, and in quiet cemeteries, in Greece (and other countries), as well as closer to home – simply sitting and opening to the moment, to the nature of the place where she finds herself and to the nature of what she finds within, at that moment.
